PLANNING THE DAY

PLANNING THE DAY

“ I always like to meet with the couple
to spend time with them to find out more about them
and to talk about what sort of wedding ceremony they would like,
what has meaning for them and who and
what they’d like to include in their ceremony.”

I live in Sussex and am happy to be a Celebrant at wedding ceremonies in the UK and abroad.  Couples choosing me as their wedding celebrant will find that I’ll work closely with them to craft a ceremony which focuses on them, their love, their story and the people and places that have significance for them.

I always like to meet with the couple to spend time with them to find out more about them and to talk about what sort of wedding ceremony they would like, what has meaning for them and who and what they’d like to include in their ceremony.

When we’ve spent this time together I would draw on all of my training, resources and creativity to bring together suggestions for music and readings, to suggest a format, thoughts on symbolic actions which you may both like to share along with your vows and to plan in minute detail the way that we can realise all of your ideas.

If time, distances and logistics allow I’d highly recommend a rehearsal so that we can all “walk through” the ceremony and I’d be there on the day itself to calm nerves, check on details and, of course, to deliver the ceremony.  I would also create a permanent printed record of your wedding ceremony.

I can work with professional Wedding Planners and venue managers and will always be making sure that the vision that you have for your wedding ceremony will be fulfilled on the day.
